Creative Street Murals by Roadsworth
Canadian artist Peter Gibson aka Roadsworth transforms ordinary crosswalks, sidewalks, bike lanes and parking lots
into creative, vibrant street scenes. Some of the murals take on a
humorous tone while others encourage social change, such as his most
recent work in Montreal which addresses the refugee crisis. He states:
“as of today, the UN has counted 65 million refugees in the world. I
painted this in recognition of this tragic fact. Walls and fences are
for painting and climbing not for dividing and obstructing.”
